PhD and Master in Social Sciences with a focus on International Relations and Development from UNESP (Marília campus), with research on China since her undergraduate studies. She completed courses on Chinese culture, language, and society at Peking University and Hubei University. A university professor, she coordinates a funded research project that develops analyses and reports on Latin American communities residing in the United States, as well as migration processes — the 'Latino Observatory'. She has worked as a consultant for companies in Brazil-China intercultural management and serves as a board member of the Municipal Education Council of the city of Marília, SP, representing the private universities of the municipality.
